Editorial Standards
TerraVerte Digest is an independent publication covering sustainability, digital systems, and the environmental cost of modern civilisation. These standards govern everything we publish.
Independence
TerraVerte Digest is published by TerraVerte Solutions but operates with full editorial independence. Our commercial relationships do not influence our editorial decisions. We do not accept paid placement, sponsored articles, or content marketing.
Accuracy
We verify claims before publishing. Data points, statistics, and empirical assertions are sourced to primary research, peer-reviewed studies, or credible institutional reports wherever possible. Where data is contested or uncertain, we say so.
Sources
We identify our sources. We link to primary sources wherever they are publicly accessible. We do not grant anonymity to sources making attacks on named individuals or organisations.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly and transparently. When a published article contains a factual error, we correct it in the body of the article and note the correction at the foot of the piece with the date it was made. We do not silently edit published articles. To submit a correction, contact us via the contact page with the subject line “Correction request.”
Conflicts of Interest
Contributors are required to disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationship with organisations or individuals covered in their work. Disclosed conflicts are noted in the article.
Artificial Intelligence
We use AI tools as part of our editorial workflow. All published content is written, edited, and verified by human editors. AI-generated text is not published without substantive human rewriting and editorial review. The accuracy, tone, and judgements in our published work are the responsibility of named human editors.
